Tribology in the Automotive Industry

Tribology plays a pivotal role in the automotive industry by addressing critical factors such as friction, wear and lubrication in various mechanical components. The optimization of these tribological aspects leads to improved fuel efficiency, increased lifetime of components, and enhanced overall vehicle performance.

Join us in this webinar to learn more about the tribological characterization of different mechanical components within the automotive industry.

Content of the webinar:

  • Introduction to tribology, testing methods, etc
  • Overview of mechanical components in the automotive industry
  • Discussion on frictional, lubrication and wear performance of the different mechanical components
