Granulation and drying - particle sizing and powder rheology in pharmaceutical industry
This webinar will look into important parameters for manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry. Issues that will be discussed include the influence of processing parameters (temperature and humidity) on product characteristics such as particle size and flowability of different excipients (milled lactose and methylcellulose). Moreover, a brief introduction to particle sizing and powder rheology will be given.
Trainer: Dr. Timothy Aschl, Dr. Olivia Kettner
Timothy Aschl is the global product manager for powder rheology at Anton Paar since 2017. He holds a PhD in chemistry from the École Polytechnique, France where he researched biosensors. His Master’s degree in technical physics was obtained from the Technical University of Graz, with a focus on biofuels.
Olivia Kettner works as international product manager for surface charge at Anton Paar GmbH. She studied Physics at Graz University of Technology and holds a PhD in Solid State Physics. She is specialized on surface zeta potential analysis.
