SVM covers the entire viscosity, density, and temperature range with one measurement cell, enabling you to measure a wide variety of samples, from jet fuel to wax, without changing the cell. A single SVM viscometer is all you need for kinematic viscosity and viscosity index measurements in the range from 0.2 mm²/s to 30,000 mm²/s.

SVM helps you cut operational costs. The patented measuring cell requires only a small amount of solvent for cleaning (min. 1.5 mL), reducing solvent and disposal costs to a minimum. No external cooling is required for measurements down to -20 °C, saving valuable lab space and energy. While delivering superior performance, SVM consumes much less energy than a typical capillary bath, regardless of whether you measure at -20 °C or at +135 °C. Using a sample changer gives you time to perform other important tasks while filling, measuring, and cleaning are taken care of. Great results with little effort
Installation, operation, and maintenance of SVM are incredibly easy. It is a stand-alone instrument and all calculations are performed automatically by the integrated PC. The factory-adjusted instrument is ready to use immediately out of the box. Thanks to its patented motor concept, access to the measuring cell is tool-free, enabling convenient cleaning after measuring heavily contaminated samples, such as used oil. The optional magnetic particle trap removes magnetic particles from the sample, ensuring good viscosity measurements. The fully customizable user interface shows you exactly the parameters you need.

Your 4-in-1 solution for low-temperature applications
In addition to kinematic viscosity and density, SVM 3001 Cold Properties determines the cloud and freeze points from the same sample. This significantly reduces your workload as SVM delivers the results which would otherwise require multiple tests on different instruments. SVM 3001 Cold Properties is the perfect choice for measuring diesel, biodiesel, and jet fuel and is ideal for both QC and R&D.
