SAXSpoint 700 is the ultimate SAXS/WAXS/GISAXS/USAXS/RheoSAXS laboratory beamline with synchrotron detector technology for the highest resolution in a compact system. Anton Paar’s brilliant SAXS system resolves nanostructures up to 620 nm. SAXSpoint 700 offers flexible analysis of almost any material under ambient, non-ambient conditions - even air. With its spacious measurement chamber, this SAXS system provides endless experimental possibilities. Easily perform non-destructive investigations of material properties via powerful software packages that enable automatic operation and data analysis. A wide range of features equip SAXSpoint 700 for future applications, with USAXS also including the micrometer range.

Key features

A SAXS System with Endless Experimental Possibilities

SAXSpoint 700’s new and improved measurement chamber opens up endless possibilities with its size, a wealth of sample environments, and customization for specific experiments. Tailor your SAXS system to your requirements so that you can take on nanostructured material analysis with ease. Seamlessly switch between different sample stages thanks to the SAXSdrive™ software and automatic stage recognition, which ensures automatic alignment of all components. Cover an impressive temperature range of -150 °C to 500 °C, combine full rheological and nanostructural investigations with the RheoSAXS module, and conduct automated studies with temperature-controlled samplers - even in air.

Pure brilliance

Take on difficult samples with the help of the best-in-class beam delivery system. Thanks to a brilliant X-ray beam with the highest spectral purity (>99.9 % Cu Kα) and scatterless beam collimation, users are guaranteed synchrotron-like data quality (including SAXS/WAXS/GISAXS/USAXS/RheoSAXS) with minimum effort and the shortest exposure times.
This SAXS system, with its brilliant setup and industry-leading optical system, enables the resolution of structures up to 620 nm (USAXS up to the µm range), at the most compact system size (3.6 m x 0.9 m).

SAXS and WAXS in one go

Obtain SAXS and WAXS data in one go with Slidemaster. Without any additional realignment of the SAXS system necessary, save time by cutting out any setup steps between measurements. Simply choose your optimum q-range from the highest SAXS resolution to a wide WAXS regime for every experiment. What's more, due to the automatic beamstop selection, another step is taken out of the whole process, saving you time and effort. With EIGER2 R detectors even fully beamstop-less measurements are possible.

Powerful software

The SAXSdrive™ software, with automated routine steps, such as temperature scans and time-dependent studies allows you to perform experiments while focusing on more important tasks.

Analyze your SAXS data sets with SAXSanalysis™, which combines automated data processing with advanced analysis routines. With just one click, you can obtain key parameters such as radius of gyration (Rg), pair-distance distribution function (p(r)), particle size, Porod constant, specific surface, and Guinier and Kratky plots. Export data into all relevant formats for further analysis, and meet industry standards and norms, e.g., ISO 20804.

A life-long software update policy ensures that customers fully benefit from future innovation.
