The IT department is responsible for ensuring that our users can perform their daily tasks smoothly and with system support. This includes procuring new hardware and software when needed, handling the installation and operation of IT infrastructure, and providing the necessary equipment. Additionally, we ensure the seamless functioning of our business processes. In the IT world, stagnation is not an option. There are always innovations and updates to keep up with, and our highly professional department takes care of that.

After completing my education at HTL, I started directly in the SAP field and quickly gained experience in various modules. My daily tasks include consulting process specialists, programming reports and interfaces, implementing and adapting business processes, and database queries to keep our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system running and continuously improving. We always keep our goal in mind: "to enable and facilitate users' work." Our systems map business processes in accounting, logistics, production, customer relationship management (CRM), and human resources. These processes are analyzed and structured in our "Business Warehouse." Apps are also no longer a foreign concept for SAP – we independently set up and implement them using the latest Fiori technology.

I have been working at Anton Paar since 2021, starting as an SAP consultant. Right from the beginning, I was able to implement my first project together with a colleague, which allowed me to be directly involved in processes and workflows – an experience that was extremely valuable for my further work. Several optimization projects followed, where I took on both consulting and development roles, continuously expanding my knowledge. A major highlight was the S/4 Go-Live in 2024, which our department successfully implemented with minimal external support. Projects like these demonstrate the immense expertise and motivation within our team – together, we can solve any problem.
