Rotational viscometer for oil viscosity

Viscosity measurement has never been so easy: The SVM 3000 works according to a new, patented (EP 0 926 481 A2) measuring principle. Just fill the measuring cell with 3 ml of sample and obtain both dynamic and kinematic viscosity and density values. The viscosity index calculation is also integrated.

The SVM 3000 fulfills all requirements of the ASTM D7042: Standard Test Method for Dynamic Viscosity and Density of Liquids by Stabinger Viscometer (and the Calculation of Kinematic Viscosity). See "Declaration of Conformity" in the Download area.
The precision obtained by the SVM 3000 in the interlaboratory study conducted by ASTM subcommittee D02.07A was shown to be equivalent to the precision achieved in measurements made according to ASTM D445.
