AMVn Automated Microviscometer
Features & Benefits

Modular viscometer - perfect for research and quality control

The AMVn determines the dynamic and kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids fully automatically. It is based on the rolling/falling ball principle (DIN 53015 and ISO 12058) and ideal for the measurement of low viscosity substances such as wort and beer, inks, polymer solutions, biological fluids, extracts, blood plasma, etc.

High performance and efficiency

The AMVn is the most accurate instrument on the market and also very easy to use. Its compact design saves you lab space. Reduce costs in the lab: Start a measurement with a minimum sample volume of between 150µl and 2.5 mL, depending on the sample viscosity and save sample and cleaning agents.

Features and benefits

  • No water bath required due to Peltier thermostatting
  • Modular configuration to suit all budgets
  • Closed system - no sample/ air contact
  • Combination with sample changer for maximum ease of use
  • Powerful software for data acquisition and analysis available
  • High precision and excellent reproducibilitiy of results
