High Throughput Rheometer (HTR)

The High Throughput Rheometer (HTR) is the first fully robotic arm-operated rheometer system. 96 samples can be filled, measured, and cleaned automatically with the help of a robotic arm, a conventional Physica MCR rheometer and a cleaning and filling station. The system can be used for parallel plate, cone-and-plate as well as for concentric cylinder measurements. The RheoPlus software communicates with the rheometer as well as with the software of the robotic arm.

High throughput at utmost precision

  • World’s first robotic arm-operated rheometer system allowing automized measurements of 96 samples in one run without user interaction
  • System consists of robotic arm, filling and cleaning station, and Physica MCR rheometer
  • Parallel plate, cone-and-plate or concentric cylinder measurements
  • Peltier, electrical or convection temperature control, Accessories >>
  • Automated sample filling, automated trimming optional
  • Automated measuring system cleaning with water/solvent while the next test is running
  • Use a bar code reader for sample identification
  • Disposable or reuseable measuring systems for hard-to-clean samples
  • Fast return on investment as the HTR can be run 24 hours a day

Independent measuring profiles

  • The full measuring process is controlled by handshake from RheoPlus and the robotic arm software
  • Rotational and oscillatory tests
  • Flexible test programming for all 96 samples
  • LIMS/SAP interface to store the results in external databases
