Large sample volume due to direct scaling up
The new Synthos 3000 is a high-performance microwave instrument for organic synthesis. It guarantees direct scaling up for experiments from small batch sizes (e.g. 4 mL) up to liter volumes and therefore enables the use of optimized protocols for scale up. No change of reaction parameters, just increase the amount of reagent and start the reaction. Two powerful magnetrons ensure a highly homogeneous microwave field. Together with a high-performance magnetic stirrer, this provides excellent reproducibility of the experimental results.

Flexibility throughout the range

The vessels and rotors are easily exchangeable. This allows you to set up the best possible configuration for your chemical application. Up to 1 L reaction volume or 48 different reaction mixtures can be processed in one single run. Depending on the reaction the daily output can be as high as 3 kg upon sequential runs. The patented cooling system enables effective cooling down, even with large reaction volumes, and keeps the process time to a minimum. Synthos 3000 proves particularly useful for work in R&D laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry and for suppliers of chemical building blocks.
