Wines: COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 128/2004
Amending Regulation (EEC) No 2676/90: Community methods for the analysis of wines: The results of determining the alcoholic strength (in %vol) of a wide range of wines show the comparability of measurements carried out with the hydrostatic balance and the electronic density-meter using a frequency oscillator and demonstrate that the values of the validation parameters are similar for both methods. A repeatability of 0.061 ( % vol.) for electronic densimetry is reported. Valid for DMA 4100, DMA 4500, DMA 5000
Wines: COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2676/90
Community methods for the analysis of wines: for measuring the density or specific gravity at 20 °C the automated method based on the principle of the frequency oscillator is, in respect of its accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility, considered as equivalent to hydrometry or densimetry using a hydrostatic balance; Repeatability for density measurements for dry and semi-sweet wines: r = 0.00010, and for sweet wines: r = 0.00018. Valid for DMA 4100, DMA 4500, DMA 5000.
