The new Physica rheometer family - designed to meet our customers' needs.
Features & Benefits

The new Physica rheometer family

The new Physica MCR Rheometer Series offers four new rheometer models plus an extensive range of accessories which stand out for technical excellence and ease-of-use. Modularity and compatibility across the Physica MCR rheometer series as well as unique features guarantee individual rheometer configurations to solve your application problems at great value for money.

  • Physica MCR 501 - the high-end rheometer for R&D
  • Physica MCR 301 - for product development and research
  • Physica MCR 101 - for QC and product development
  • Physica MCR 51 - for quality control applications

Test types to simulate real process and end-use conditions

All rheometers perform a wide range of steady and dynamic tests in both CSS and CSR mode. From generating simple flow curves to the dynamic analysis of complex fluids, melts, and co-polymers, all Physica rheometers offer simple programming and test setup. Part of the flexibility of the new RheoPlus Software lies in its ability to mix or "chain" different test types together to help simulate process and end-use conditions.

  • Shear rate (CSR)
  • Shear stress (CSS)
  • Creep and recovery
  • Normal force
  • Stress relaxation
  • Linear tensile and compression, including tack
  • Amplitude sweep
  • Frequency sweep
