Temperatures up to 320 °C at pressures up to 130 bar result in complete mineralization of even the most difficult organic and inorganic samples. The hermetically sealed vessels made of highly pure quartz glass or glassy carbon are compatible with all common digesting agents.

Maximum safety

Multiple interlocks prevent operating errors, graduated pressure relief devices limit the effects of spontaneous reactions. Due to the high level of safety integrated in its design, manufacture and operation, the HPA-S has been awarded the GS label by recognized testing institutions.
