New Accessories for ultra-high throughput
Features and Benefits

High sample throughput becomes more and more an important issue in analytical as well in preparative labs. The new Rotor 48MF50 is specially designed to fulfil this task for sample preparation and microwave synthesis. It makes Anton PaarŽ s microwave supported sample preparation system Multiwave 3000 even more flexible and attractive.

The rotor can be equipped with up to 48 reaction vessels arranged in three circles. Each reaction vessel consists of a 50 mL PFA liner, a pressure jacket made of reinforced PEEK and a screw cap containing a cone seal and a metal rupture disk for overpressure release. This sophisticated vessel design enables quick and safe handling with only three parts to assemble. With an operation range of 200°C and 20 bar the equipment can be used for a wide range of digestion applications.

Reaction control is achieved on the center circle by IR control and more precisely by an immersing temperature/pressure sensor in one reference vessel. This installation-free sensor technology (no wrenches, cables or connectors are required) makes handling very easy and quickly. The proven homogeneity of the microwave field ensures identical conditions at every position.

Benefits

  • Closed vessels for analytical accuracy - no losses of analytes and reagents
  • Efficient vessel design - only three parts to handle
  • Robust cone seals - no time consuming pre-forming necessary
  • Installation free sensor technology - reliable pressure and temperature control for trouble-free operation
  • Homogenous heating of all vessels - uniform results
  • Multiwave 3000 meets European, US and Canadian emission and safety requirements - ETL and GS marks
  • Compatibility of system components - economic upgrades to higher specifications or other tasks
