Microwave High Throughput Synthesis System: Synthos 3000

Synthos 3000 is not only used for large-scale applications and extreme conditions but also for small-scale high throughput synthesis. Three different configurations with operation limits up to 200 °C and 20 bar can be applied for this purpose. The ADVANCED configuration employs Rotor 48 MF50 with its 50 mL PFA liners, the REGULAR starter configuration comprises Rotor 64MG5, and the PRO configuration works with Rotor 4x24 MG5 featuring silicon carbide (SiC) heating blocks. Whereas REGULAR and PRO with small glass vials are operated with IR sensing only, the use of the immersing p/T sensor accessory with Rotor 48MF50 is recommended for accurate reaction control.
Furthermore the PRO configuration offers the broadest scope of application. The heating capacity of SiC enables the use of low absorbing solvents and allows processing different solvents in one run. Even single vials with smallest quantities are easily processed.
