Mineral Mining Webinar: Enhancing Operations with Process Instrumentation for Better Output

Join us for the inaugural session of the Southern Africa–Australia Mining Webinar Series: Exchange Between Two Giants: Unique Solutions for Mineral Mining from Australia & South Africa, where we explore groundbreaking technologies shaping the future of hydrometallurgical mining. This session focuses on inline process instrumentation and sensors that are redefining operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability in copper, gold, PGM's and uranium ore processing.

Inline monitoring is no longer a luxury — it is a necessity. Traditional methods like titration are labour-intensive and error-prone. Learn how Anton Paar’s L-Sonic 5100 and L-Dens 7400 process sensors are enabling real-time, 24/7 measurement of acids, bases, and concentration values directly in the flow, without interruptions or costly downtime.

What You will Learn

Hydrometallurgical process optimization using inline sound velocity and density meters.

Key application areas including:

  • Heap leaching in copper and uranium mining.
  • Cyanide leaching and acid regeneration in gold mining.
  • Sulfuric acid plant integration and SO₂/SO₃ off-gas handling.

How these instruments help achieve:

  • Reduced chemical consumption.
  • Faster process reaction time.
  • Maximum ore recovery.
  • Full process automation.
  • Compliance with environmental limits.

Who Should Attend

  • Process engineers and metallurgists in base and precious metals extraction.
  • Plant managers and QA/QC professionals.
  • Environmental and operations personnel focused on emissions and sustainability.
  • Automation engineers and technology innovators in mining.

Why Attend

This session is your gateway to understanding how Anton Paar's mining-proven instrumentation is helping global operations increase yields, lower OPEX, and ensure regulatory compliance — from acid digestion in uranium mining to carbon regeneration in gold leaching.

Webinar times:

  • South Africa: 08h00 to 08h30
  • Australia (Sydney): 16h00 to 16h30
  • New Zealand: 18h00 to 18h30
