Seminar-cum-workshop on “Fundamentals of Surface Chemistry and Colloidal Systems

Thomas Luxbacher is principal scientist for surface charge and zeta potential at Anton Paar. Prior to his present role, he was a product manager for surface zeta potential analyzers for more than 15 years. Before joining Anton Paar, Thomas gained experience in the semiconductor and automotive businesses. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Physical Chemistry from Graz University of Technology.

Dr. Sumit Kumar Singh holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, an M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from NIT Trichy, and a B.Tech. in Biotechnology from NIT Raipur. His research focuses on clinical and nutritional glycomics, antibody engineering, biopharmaceutical characterization, and immune-mediated skin/hair disorders. He is currently an Assistant Professor at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Delaware.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Meena specializes in ultrabright nanomedicine, interventional and opto theranostics, cell-derived Nano Ghosts, liposomes, and molecular imaging for solid tumor therapy. He earned his Ph.D. from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, and an M.Sc. from the University of Kota. Currently an Assistant Professor at IIT (BHU), he has held postdoctoral positions at Tufts University, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay, and NOVA Medical School, focusing on nanoparticle applications in cancer medicine.

Dr. Satarupa Dutta specializes in micro/nano fluidics, electrokinetics, colloids and interfaces, and thermal swimmers. She earned his Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Guwahati and a B.E. from Assam Engineering College. He has held research positions at IIT Guwahati and TU Darmstadt as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Her accolades include the BIRAC SRISTI Appreciation Grant and an SERB International Travel Grant for the APS Fluid Mechanics Meeting in 2019.
