Ensuring Bitumen Quality: Adherence to BIS Specifications in Testing

As per the recent BIS norms, the application of Rheology into Bitumen and Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) binder testing will also require Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) measurements. The objective of this seminar is to disseminate basic knowledge about the application of DSR for the quality control of asphalt and asphalt pavements which is mandatory according to the IS 15462:2019. It will be beneficial for government and private agencies, contractor, bitumen suppliers, modifiers, polymer suppliers, consultants, researchers working in area of road construction, design and quality control.
