HVT Rotor

Anton Paar’s HVT rotors are robust, lightweight, and designed to accommodate the highest number  of samples within a compact footprint. Three rotor variants are available, allowing you to choose the configuration that best meets your requirements in terms of sample number (24 to 41) and volume (50 mL to 80 mL). 
The HVT vessels with SmartVent technology ensure easy tool-free handling and provide full reaction control via SmartTemp without the need for additional sensors. 
This rotor type is particularly suited for the digestion of a wide range of environmental and agricultural samples, including water, effluents, soil, sludge, plants, and animal feed, regardless of their matrices. Food samples such as vegetables, beverages, seafood, and meat can also be reliably digested using this system.

Sophisticated vessel concept

SmartVent technology manages overpressure – an unwanted side effect of digestion reactions – through the controlled release of reaction gases. This enables operation at maximum digestion temperatures, regardless of the applied sample amount, and allows the digestion of samples with different reaction behavior in one run.
The SmartVent rotors are robust, lightweight, and designed to accommodate more samples on a smaller footprint. Their robust design ensures safe operation. Cooling fins on the vessel body, combined with the airflow-guided ventilation concept of the Multiwave instruments, enable faster cooling after the digestion.

SmartTemp: Contactless temperature measurement

The SmartTemp 2.0 sensor measures the internal temperature of each HVT vessel directly and in real-time. Combining the fast temperature feedback of an internal temperature probe with the convenience of an infrared sensor, it provides the best   temperature measurement available on the market in real-time. The durable design of the HVT vessel and SmartTemp temperature measurement support safe operation at the highest temperatures and pressures.
