The clam-shell barrel opens by loosening only a few bolts, exposing the liner and screws for quick inspection, cleaning, component exchange, and screw configuration checks. Detachable liner inserts and selectable steel alloys for liners, screws, and dies support abrasive, corrosive and high-temperature applications above 500 °C.
