Explore Anton Paar's New Brabender Instruments for the Battery Industry
The safety, performance and lifetime of a battery will only be as good as the materials that go into making it. Specifically, electrodes and slurries need to be fully characterized and monitored from the time they enter the production facility until they are incorporated into the final product.
In this webinar, we will highlight our new Brabender analytical instrumentation and extrusion equipment, which can be used for the battery industry. The spotlight will be on key instruments such as the MetaStation (the torque rheometer drive unit to determine the processability and conductivity of slurries), and the AbsorptoMeter (the instrument for quick quality control via the determination of the oil absorption number). We will also explain the innovative twin-screw extrusion system, TwinLab, which guarantees full control of extrusion processes and all the tools to extrude anode and cathode films on aluminum, or conductive films made of other materials, on a laboratory scale.
