Characterizing the Zeta Potential of Materials from the Nano to the Macro Scale.

The zeta potential is commonly used as a representative of surface charge and an indicator for solid-liquid interfacial processes. It is applicable to characterize both colloidal systems (such as particle dispersions and emulsions) and solid surfaces. With the dedicated instruments of Litesizer™ 500 and SurPASS™ 3, Anton Paar offers zeta potential analyses for the complete range of materials.

In this webinar we briefly introduce the concept of the zeta potential and the corresponding measuring techniques for colloids and solid surfaces. Based on selected examples we then provide an overview of various applications for zeta potential analyses.
