Seminar-cum-workshop on “Fundamentals of Surface Chemistry and Colloidal Systems"

This one-day seminar-cum-workshop will have combination of lectures from eminent scientists and faculties of as well as experts from industries on basics of surface chemistry for biomaterials and colloidal systems of nanoparticles and beyond. 

The aim is to introduce the principles and practice of Zeta potential and Particle Size Analysis for faculties, researchers, PhD scholars and master/bachelor students. 

The workshop will be conducted by scientist and Industry expert, both having vast experience working in the field of surface science and colloidal chemistry of biomaterials. The workshop shall also discuss some recent trends and new developments in research and industry relating to particle size analysis and stability of colloids.

Thomas Luxbacher

Thomas Luxbacher is principal scientist for surface charge and zeta potential at Anton Paar. Prior to his present role, he was a product manager for surface zeta potential analyzers for more than 15 years. Before joining Anton Paar, Thomas gained experience in the semiconductor and automotive businesses. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Physical Chemistry from Graz University of Technology.
