Pooria Pasbaksh

Dr. Pooria Pasbakhsh is the Technical Sales Specialist based in Perth and responsible for the Material Characterisation portfolio at Anton Paar Australia in WA, SA and NT. He joined Anton Paar in March 2023, specialising in particle characterisation, surface area and porosity analysis, viscometry and rheology.


Pooria holds a PhD in Material Science and Engineering-Polymer Composites from University of Science Malaysia. He further pursued his postdoctoral research at the University of Adelaide working on mineral nanotubes in 2010. Prior to join Anton Paar he was an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering at Monash University. His expertise lies in the development and characterisation of nanomaterials, polymers, composites, minerals, membranes and biopolymers for various applications.
