Basics of Gas Adsorption: Physisorption
During this Online Seminar, our Online Trainer Dr. Rishi Gupta, will educate the participants on various aspects of porous material characterization including experimental, theoretical and molecular simulation methods to study BET surface area, pore size distribution and pore volume of various samples. We will cover the following topics:
- Gas adsorption: Isotherm measurement by vacuum volumetric method
- The concept/interlinking of surface area , porosity, pore size & particle size
- Measurement method for low, high, micropore & external surface are
- Discussion on pore size distribution methods
Dr. Rishi Gupta earned his doctorate and post-doctoral degrees from the University of Delhi, and he is currently employed as Technical Manager with Anton Paar India's Characterization Division. He has over 15 years of expertise working with catalytic reactions and analytical instruments. Dr. Gupta has over 40 International publications with around 3500 citations. Dr. Gupta also has worked extensively in porous material characterization utilizing Gas Sorption and particle size analysis techniques
