Basics of Gas Adsorption: Physisorption

During this Online Seminar, our Online Trainer Dr. Rishi Gupta, will educate the participants on various aspects of porous material characterization including experimental, theoretical and molecular simulation methods to study BET surface area, pore size distribution and pore volume of various samples. We will cover the following topics:

  • Gas adsorption: Isotherm measurement by vacuum volumetric method
  • The concept/interlinking  of surface area , porosity, pore size & particle size
  • Measurement method for low, high, micropore & external surface are

Rishi Gupta

Dr. Rishi Gupta holds a Doctorate and Post-doctorate from the University of Delhi and brings over 15 years of experience in analytical instrumentation. He has authored more than 50 international publications and specializes in advanced material characterization techniques.  
Currently he is working as a Technical Manager (Applications) in the Characterization Division at Anton Paar India.
