Maximum accuracy in reaction control
The Monowave reactor's immersing fiber optic sensor guarantees immediate feedback, and high precision. The internal temperature measurement by the fiber optic ruby-thermometer permits quick adjustment responses for successful synthesis involving highly exothermic reactions. This enables precise monitoring and control of sensitive chemical reactions. The result: Benefit from significant increases of yield and purity across the board with our microwave synthesizer.
Reaction screening at enhanced microwave conditions
The silicon carbide employed in Anton Paar’s Rotor 4x24MG5 opens up new avenues for method development. Due to its excellent microwave absorption properties, SiC allows for the heating of practically microwave-transparent solvents such as toluene and dioxane. Additionally, the Anton Paar Rotor 4x24MG5 enables the parallel synthesis of up to 96 samples under exactly the same conditions.
Simple application of gaseous reagents
Benefit from a variety of Multiwave 5001 accessories - with the sophisticated gas loading system, a reactive or inert gas atmosphere is individually created in each vessel.
Apply pressures up to 20 bar prior to reactions for safe and effective microwave synthesis employing sensitive substrates.
Unique autosampler for unattended operation
Anton Paar’s optional MAS 24 autosampler unit for the Monowave reactors provides unattended sequential processing of up to 24 vials of different sizes. It allows sufficient programming of multiple experiments and ensures safety thanks to software-guided loading strategies.
Directly observe your reaction progress
The integrated digital camera is a useful add-on to your microwave synthesizer configuration. Watch what is going on in your vial at all times so you can swiftly react to anything by varying stirring speed, time or reaction temperature. Alternatively, obtain real-time information about the chemical composition of pressurized reactions with in-situ Raman spectroscopy by combining Monowave 400 R with the Core 5001 spectrometer.
