Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical consultation and application expertise to the sales team and customers during the pre-sales phase.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, application feasibility tests, and sample analyses to validate performance and support purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and application-based documentation to strengthen sales pitches.
  • Participate in customer visits, seminars, and product presentations to communicate value propositions.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Track and manage sales funnel activities for assigned product lines.
  • Develop and deliver product training for sales colleagues to enhance their technical understanding and selling capabilities.
  • Provide inputs for marketing campaigns, brochures, and trade show content.
  • Deliver installation and application training to new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Offer ongoing technical support and guidance for method development, troubleshooting, and instrument optimization.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the service team to resolve complex technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and maintain awareness of technological developments in the industry.
  • Contribute to the creation of application notes, case studies, and best practice documents.
  • Support new product launches, including demonstration readiness and customer engagement initiatives.

Your profile:

  • Ph.D., Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2–6 years of experience in scientific instrumentation, analytical measurements, technical sales, or application support.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles, data analysis, and scientific method validation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills — able to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across sales, service, and marketing teams.
  • Proactive, organized, and customer-oriented, with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, and training.
