Technical Customer Support & Inside Sales (m/f/d) for the Laboratory Measurement Technology Division

Anton Paar Germany GmbH | Ostfildern

Anton Paar Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of Anton Paar GmbH, has over 170 employees and is responsible for the distribution and service of precision measuring instruments. To bring exceptional products and services to market, we need remarkable and motivated individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Point of Contact for Customers & Sales: You will support our customers by phone, email, remote diagnostics, or on-site with the operation of our laboratory measuring instruments—including in the areas of microwave technology, Raman spectroscopy, oxidation stability, flash point measurement, interpretation of measurement results, use of measurement software, commissioning, training, and much more. In doing so, you will work closely with your colleagues at both the Ostfildern location and in the sales department.

• Measurements: In our application lab or on-site at the customer’s location, you will perform measurements on customer samples—such as microwave digestion of polymers or oxidation stability measurements of cosmetics—and prepare the corresponding measurement reports.

• Knowledge Sharing: The equipment installations and training sessions you conduct at our customers’ sites are the best opportunity to share your product-specific knowledge. You will also actively help design workshops and seminars as part of your role.

Your profile:

• Communication and Mobility: In addition to enjoying customer contact, you have fluent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English skills, as well as a Class 3/B driver’s license.

• Qualifications: You hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or natural science field or have completed relevant vocational training—for example, as a CTA (f/m/d), BTA (f/m/d), PTA (f/m/d), or MTA (f/m/d).

• Experience: You possess theoretical and, ideally, practical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Raman technology, microwave technology, or Fourier transform spectroscopy. In addition, you consider yourself tech-savvy and have gained initial experience with laboratory software and/or LIMS integrations.

• Versatility: You have no trouble independently planning and conducting customer appointments and training sessions. Your profile is rounded out by a confident demeanor and a structured approach to work.

• Team Spirit: You value collaboration within a dynamic team and actively contribute to it. Through your helpfulness and flexibility, you help us work together to find the best possible solutions for our customers.

What we offer:

• Pleasant working environment: Collegial atmosphere, team spirit, and career prospects

• Comprehensive onboarding: Intensive introduction, open communication, and individual mentoring

• Attractive conditions: Permanent contract, 13.5 monthly salaries, company pension scheme, and company bike options

• Appealing overall package: Flexible working hours, 30 vacation days with a 5-day work week
