From sample properties to liquid density to quality control to solid density, join us and our international guest speaker Sergio Riccardo Capecci, on Wednesday, 05 June 2024 from 09h00 to 15h00 for our Lunch and Learn - Beauty to Medicine in a nutshell workshop taking place at our Midrand office.

We will cover:

  • Refractive Index and Polarimeter
  • Density - Liquid and Solid
  • Particle Analysis
  • Microwave Digestion and Synthesis
  • Viscosity

Akhona Qambela

Akhona obtained her BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Rhodes University and joined Anton Paar Southern Africa in 2014 as part of the Measurement Department. She has extensive experience working with clients across various industries and in 2021 she was promoted to Product Manager for Refractive Index and Polarimetry. Her main focus is providing solutions for R&D and quality control in Gauteng and surrounding inland provinces.

Shane Woods

Shane obtained his BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Johannesburg and started his career as a lab analyst which later progressed into a research and development role and eventually sales. He joined Anton Paar Southern Africa’s sales team in 2019 as part of the Measurement Department, responsible for the sales and support of the Analytical and Synthetic Chemistry (ASC) product range. He was appointed as Product Manager ASC in July 2020 with the main focus being to provide solutions for R&D and quality control laboratories in South Africa.

Sergio Capecci

With a Degree in Biological Sciences and another in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sergio is the Key Account Manager for Pharma and Chemical fro Anton Paar and oversees the EMEA Region. He brings over a decade of invaluable experience to the table, with a career spanning both the pharmaceutical industry and a significant tenure with Anton Paar. His expertise is deeply rooted in ensuring data integrity and driving innovation in the pharma sector for both sw and instruments.
