The laboratory uses Anton Paar’s Multiwave 5000 for microwave-assisted acid digestion of food samples, helping the team quantify minerals and heavy metals such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, and other elements.

Its ability to process different samples simultaneously is especially valuable for Confia, which handles a wide range of food matrices including dairy, bakery, meat, and seasoning products.

Faster workflows and safer operation

Multiwave 5000 has helped Confia reduce the time required for sample preparation while improving throughput. The laboratory processes around 50 to 60 nutrition matrices per month and approximately 480 samples within 20 working days.
