Hair gel was analyzed using helium gas on the Ultrapyc 5000. The true density was measured.
An important property of hair gel is its true density, which can be correlated to solids content, used to determine the homogeneity from batch to batch, or needed to optimize the packaging. One challenge in measuring the density via traditional liquid density techniques is the viscosity. The Anton Paar Ultrapyc 5000 was used to analyze the true density of a store-bought hair gel.
