Mark Haase, PhD.

Mark Haase completed his PhD studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, on the synthesis and characterization of Spinnable Carbon Nanotube Arrays. Prior to that, Mark earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. During his academic career, Mark extensively used AFMs and other characterization tools, which benefited him starting his new career as Commercial Application Scientist at Anton Paar USA in 2018. Mark has been supporting researchers and engineers in academic and corporate environments solving materials testing challenges ever since.

Tyler Hunt

Tyler Hunt is currently an Application Engineer for Anton Paar with a passion for materials characterization. Tyler first worked as a research assistant while finishing his degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas. Since then, Tyler has developed in expertise in characterization of materials from working experience in metallurgy, polymer manufacturing, ceramic processing, and rheology.

Parth Kotak

Dr. Parth Kotak works as an Application Scientist with a focus on Rheology and Mechanical Surface Characterization at Anton Paar USA. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2023. His research activities focused on the mechanical characterization of soft elastomers and polymer fibers for soft robotics applications and evaluation of the mechanical properties of Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) for energy storage devices and flexible electronics.

Ryan Lambert

Ryan is a recent addition to the Anton Paar, USA team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics, and his PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, from Virginia Commonwealth University, on the control of electronic characteristics of phosphorene nanoribbons and monolayers. During his time at VCU, Ryan gained experience in a variety of characterization techniques from the Nanomaterials Core Characterization Facility including AFM, TEM, SEM and XRD. He looks forward to continuing his passion for science professionally and creating value for customers as an Application Scientist.
