Material Brief: Skeletal Density of Titanium Dioxide Nanopowder - Ultrapyc 5000

TiO2 nanopowder was analyzed using helium gas on the Ultrapyc 5000. The skeletal density was measured.

Titanium dioxide is used in a variety of manufactured materials, including paints, plastics, papers, ceramics, sunscreen, and toothpaste, often in nanopowder form. An important property of both TiO2 and nanopowders is skeletal density. Skeletal density can be directly correlated to purity and crystallinity, which can affect processability and performance. The Anton Paar Ultrapyc 5000 was used to measure the skeletal density of a TiO2 nanopowder.
