The instrument is easy to handle thanks to the quick-coupling mechanism of the upper geometry, allowing fast, reliable setup changes. Clear alignment marks on the flange between the DSR 502 and the X-ray measuring chamber make switching from axial to tangential configurations effortless, ensuring seamless integration of rheology and SAXS analysis in one versatile system.

The RheoSAXS setup enables simultaneous rheological and structural analysis by allowing measurements parallel or perpendicular to the flow direction. This makes it possible to precisely determine the orientation of the sample distribution relative to flow, offering valuable insight into flow-induced structural changes. The system features a cylindrical measuring geometry in accordance with DIN 53019, with a 1 mm gap and components made from X-ray-transparent polycarbonate, ensuring accurate and interference-free data acquisition. With a filling volume of 8 mL and precise temperature control from -10 °C to +90 °C, the RheoSAXS solution provides the ideal environment for consistent, reproducible measurements under realistic process conditions.
