DMA 4200 M is ASTM compliant

The DMA 4200 M density meter for the petroleum industry complies with the ASTM D4052 Standard Test Method for Density, Relative Density, and API Gravity of Liquids by Digital Density Meter and the ASTM D5002 Standard Test Method for Density and Relative Density of Crude Oils by Digital Density Analyzer.

The all-rounder DMA 4200 M can’t be stopped

Now also DMA 4200 M has joined the range of ASTM-compliant instruments while it was only possible for DMA 4100/4500/5000 M beforehand!

DMA 4200 M’s physical bubble detection paves the way to ASTM

ASTM D4052-16 (section 12.1.3) states:

Ensure that the sample tube is properly filled and that no gas bubbles are present. The sample must be homogeneous and free of even the smallest gas bubbles. Check the integrity of the filled sample by using optical or physical methods to verify the absence of gas bubbles.

DMA 4200 M is ASTM compliant because of its physical bubble detection which is based on an advanced analysis of the oscillation pattern of the measuring cell.

In addition to its suitability for high-viscosity crude oils, lubricants and waxes, and its ability to measure samples with a reproducibility of 0.0001 g/cm³, DMA 4200 M has all it takes to fulfill ASTM’s high requirements.
