USP <232> & <233> Are Here…Now What?
As of January 1, 2018, it became mandatory to comply with USP chapters <232> & <233> that describe the new way to perform elemental impurities analysis. The new procedures include a detailed section on accepted sample preparation techniques. For the large quantity of samples that are not directly soluble in aqueous or organic solvents, closed vessel digestion is required before proper analysis can be done.
