Superior Low-Pressure Performance - Autosorb 6100

Microporous materials such as zeolites, MOFs, and activated carbons often contain pores smaller than 1 nm, which fill with N2 (77 K) adsorption in the extremely low relative pressure range. To adequately characterize these materials, an instrument capable of reliably and accurately reaching these low pressures is necessary.

To illustrate Autosorb 6100 low-pressure performance, absolute pressure levels were measured at the analysis port and the low-pressure measurement data of three zeolites – faujasite, ZSM-5, and 5A – are shown. Recommendations and considerations for achieving absolutely accurate low-pressure measurements are also given.
