Material Brief: Zeolites – H2O and CO2 Adsorption at Low Temperature and Low Pressure – Autosorb 6100

Water and carbon dioxide adsorption isotherms on 13X zeolite were measured at -20 °C down to low pressure on an Autosorb 6100 XR. The isotherms are compared.

The quantities of water vapor and carbon dioxide gas adsorbed on a zeolite at relevant temperatures and pressures are critical to determining the material’s behavior in direct air capture applications. The Anton Paar Autosorb 6100 equipped with an XR analysis station and the vapor option was used to measure the low-pressure water and CO2 adsorption isotherms on a 13X zeolite at -20 °C.
