Material Brief: Toothpaste - True Density - Ultrapyc
Toothpaste was analyzed using nitrogen on the Ultrapyc 5000. The true density was measured.
An important property of toothpaste is its true density, which can be correlated to solids content, used to determine the homogeneity from batch to batch, or needed to optimize the packaging. The Anton Paar Ultrapyc 5000 was used to analyze the true density of a store-bought toothpaste. The instrument can easily and repeatedly handle the “slurry-like” nature of the toothpaste.
