Material Brief: Caulk - True Density - Ultrapyc
True density values are determined for caulk using the Ultrapyc 5000.
Customers expect that each tube of caulk will have the same properties each time they need to use this semi-solid material. These properties include, but are not restricted to, flexibility, color, and strength. The quality and consistency of the final formed product can be determined for every batch using true density as an indicator.
The Anton Paar Ultrapyc 5000, a temperature-controlled gas pycnometer, was used to measure the true density of a caulk.
