Envelope Density and Porosity of solids measured with Powder Flow Cell
This application report presents the determination of envelope density using a rheometer in combination with the Powder Flow Cell
One of the most common density measurements is the determination of the geometric space occupied within the envelope of a solid material, including any voids, cracks or pores. This is referred to as geometric density or envelope density. This method comes into play when complex shapes of materials are to be analyzed.
