Comparison of pressurized and non-pressurized beer measurement systems: equally excellent results

Density and NIR-based analysis of carbonized beverages can be performed in pressurized and non-pressurized measurement systems, depending on the specific requirements. This report shows that there is no significant difference between the two systems. Deviations may occur depending on the operator, degassing method, and residual CO2.

The results of both measurement systems, non-pressurized and pressurized, are comparable. The measurement performance depends on the status and cleaning of the system, the sample’s homogeneity, and the operator.
