Student Employee in Software Verification Engineering in C# (f/m/x) (Part-time / 20 hours)

As a 2nd-Level Support Representative, you ensure that our global teams are supported quickly and effectively, enabling smooth operations to resume. Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and automation of software integration tests within the CI/CD pipeline
  • Development of a test strategy and creation of test plans for analysis and instrument software
  • Support in the planning, design, and execution of system and software tests
  • Contribution to ensuring high-quality development results through thorough testing and clearly traceable test result documentation
  • Support in verifying the reliable operation of our instruments and software as well as compliance with customer requirements
  • Assistance in the creation of requirements and the corresponding test cases

Your profile:

  • Ongoing technical studies (HTL graduate currently studying at a University of Applied Sciences or Technical University) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • Very good knowledge of C# and Python
  • Initial knowledge of or strong interest in testing and verification methods (ISTQB knowledge is an advantage but not required)
  • Strong interest in software for measuring instruments
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Careful, structured, and independent working style
  • Hands-on mentality as well as willingness to learn and analytical thinking
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2.750 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
