Sales Manager

Location: Malmö, Sweden with hybrid possibilities

Anton Paar is a global leader in high-precision laboratory instruments and analytical solutions. We are now looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our technical sales organization in the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark and Finland).

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of 9 technical sales professionals, driving performance, coaching the team, and ensuring strong customer engagement and business growth. You will also be an active member of the Nordic Management Team, contributing to the strategic direction and continued development of the business across the region. 
 
The position is based at our Malmö office, with hybrid working possibilities and occasional travel within the Nordic region. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 9 technical sales representatives 
  • Drive sales performance through regular follow-ups, KPI management, and structured sales processes 
  • Ensure effective CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy 
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, sales reviews, and performance evaluations 
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals 
  • Lead negotiations with key customers 
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process for the sales organization 
  • Support pricing strategies, margin management, and commercial decision-making 
  • Monitor sales KPIs, profitability, and business performance metrics 
  • Actively contribute to Nordic leadership discussions, decisions, and initiatives 
  • Support key customer relationships and strategic opportunities 
  • Collaborate closely with service, product specialists, and management teams 
  • Monitor market trends and identify grown opportunities

 

Your profile:

  • 5–10 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within technical, scientific, or industrial sales 
  • Proven experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams 
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales analytics, and KPI-driven management 
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and commercial follow-up 
  • Experience with pipeline management and structured sales follow-up 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Technical or scientific background is considered an advantage 
  • Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are a plus 
  • Driver´s licence (B)
