Product Manager for Analytical Instruments (w/m/d)

• Innovation: You strategically further develop the product and application portfolio of our refractometers & polarimeters. Your work is based on customer requirements which you have collected, market developments, and competitive analyses. 
• Project management: You accompany development projects as the client by defining market-side requirements, deriving specifications including software features and user stories, and regularly reviewing development results throughout the project lifecycle. 
• Product management: You oversee your products throughout their entire lifecycle. 
• Budget responsibility: You take responsibility for the sales budget of your products. In doing so, you monitor worldwide budget achievement, define measures in case of deviations in collaboration with the local sales organizations, and implement these together with the sales team. 
• Training: You conduct product trainings for the sales organization so the sales team is always up to date and can advise our customers to the best possible extent.
• International travel: You travel internationally for customer visits and seminars together with the sales team. 
• Marketing: You define the marketing communication objectives and develop the content for our marketing. 
• Communication: You take on the role of the interface for sales, development, and production.

• Well educated: You have completed a science, engineering, or technical-business degree or have a comparable qualification. 
• Experience: You have at least 5 years of solid experience in product management for technically demanding products in the B2B sector. Ideally, you also have sales or marketing experience. 
• Willingness to travel: You are willing to travel internationally for up to 25% of your time and you enjoy interacting with customers from different cultures.
• Working style: Your thinking is shaped by strategy and analysis and is characterized by entrepreneurial goals and strength in execution.
• Communication: You act pragmatically and with a strong focus on execution. You communicate and present confidently, specifically, concretely and in a friendly manner—both in German and English.
