In this responsible position in Group Accounting, you will play a key role in the further development and standardization of group-wide financial reporting. You will work on central accounting topics, drive the implementation of policies as well as system and process optimizations, and act as an important interface to local entities and internal stakeholders. The focus of your role lies in the sound assessment of complex accounting issues, supporting the financial closings, and actively shaping modern accounting structures and systems within the group.Anton Paar Group AG, as the holding company of the Anton Paar Group, is responsible for managing its six subsidiaries operating in the fields of measurement technology, real estate development and management, sports training systems, metal and sheet metal technology, and gastronomy. Responsibilities:
- Development and continuous enhancement of group-wide accounting policies
- Analysis and assessment of complex accounting issues in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and international financial reporting standards
- Collaboration on the introduction and implementation of SAP solutions (including a multi-ledger structure: Local, Tax, and UGB ledgers) within the group
- Supporting and coordinating annual financial statements at the individual and group levels
- Developing and optimizing reporting and accounting templates
- Conducting analyses and handling ad hoc special topics
- Covering for staff on leave in operational accounting
- Serving as an interface between Group Accounting, local subsidiaries, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with project-specific accounting topics and special tasks
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting
- At least 5 years of professional experience in auditing or group accounting
- In-depth knowledge of national and international accounting standards (UGB/IFRS)
- Very good skills in SAP, particularly in FI/CO
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Analytical thinking and a structured and independent working style
- Strong communication skills, intercultural competence, and a passion for cross-functional collaboration

This position is based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. Actual salary depends on experience and qualifications and typically ranges between €4,300 and €4,700 gross per month (based on full-time employment).
