Global Market Development Manager (f/m/x)

• Lead and coach a team of market development professionals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth across key market segments
• Analyze global market trends and evaluate opportunities and risks to guide business decisions
• Identify and cultivate new customers and application areas in coordination with the sales organization
• Support strategic customers by delivering value-driven market insights and development support
• Act as a liaison between market development, product management, and sales to guide portfolio expansion and customer alignment
• Provide actionable recommendations to senior management regarding new product, application, and service opportunities
• Report directly to senior management and contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives

• Technical university degree (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields)
• Additional training in Business Administration (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in market development, business development, or market strategy
• Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally managing small teams
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear strategic guidance
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, flexible, and results-driven with a high level of personal initiative
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups
• International business experience and cultural awareness
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel internationally

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4.300 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
