NATIONAL SERVICE MANAGER-SHANGHAI

- Direct and manage Area Service Managers for daily service operations across 4 areas in China.

- Define and implement the local service strategy, respecting the Anton Paar global Service Strategy.

- Work together with the area service managers to ensure that Service Engineers are properly trained and their skills are continually being advanced.

- Cooperate with APAC to ensure Anton Paar’s service guidelines and philosophy in accordance with HQ.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, applications, Admin, product management, manufacturing and marketing.

- Cooperate with Production Subs on specific service issues and report product failure trends and/or product weakness to them for improvement.

- Forecast resource requirements, spare parts inventory, Final responsibility for Service Engineer’s stocks and stock inventory.

- Responsible for increasing customer satisfaction, especially in case of negative customer survey feedback.

- Define the annual service budget and necessary resources to fulfil budget in agreement with the GM / RSM.

- Defines and implements required service organization to ensure national coverage of all product lines.

- Maintain adherence to service department policies and procedures in accordance with corporate and industry safety and quality standards, and ISO17025 requirements.

- Define and implement an annual marketing plan for increasing service coverage.

- Responsible for oversight in the routine calibration of service tools across the country.

- Bachelor’s degree required in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, physics or related field.

- 3-5 years of management experience.

- 5 years of experience working in a technical services environment.

- Excellent English.
