Formation de base

Anton Paar Netherlands B.V. organizes the spring edition of the rheology workshop on the 10th and 11th of April 2024 at the Van der Valk hotel in Breda. 
More than 2000 customers have already followed this course and use the obtained knowledge in their daily work. The goal of our rheology workshop is to initiate our customers - from lab assistants up to lab managers - in the magical world of rheology. 
  
Following topics will be discussed: viscosity & flow behaviour, elasticity & viscoelastic behaviour. These topics will be explained in detail during the theoretical sessions (English spoken). Topics of the practical sessions will be visualized while performing measurements. Participants will receive 'The Rheology Handbook' from Thomas Mezger and a syllabus with measuring graphics.

Varsha Ramdeen

Varsha obtained her Btech(Hons) in Biotechnology from the Durban University of Technology and joined Anton Paar Southern Africa in 2017, where she was responsible for sales and support in the Measurement and Characterization Departments. She has extensive experience working with customers across various industries and was appointed as Product Manager for the Surface Area & Pores product line in 2018. Her main focus is providing solutions for R&D and quality control in South Africa.

Markus Nemeth

Graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen, Germany. During the past eight years with Anton Paar, Markus has gained a welt of experience in the field of practical rheology. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and trainings for companies and institutes from a wide range of technical branches around the world. These seminars provide information on the basics of rheology and rheometry and the useful transfer of this knowledge into industrial practice.
