Anton Paar Technology Center impresses
Anton Paar GmbH and 24 Asset Management GmbH won in the “Application” category with the project “Anton Paar Technology Center – Innovative and environmentally friendly office and laboratory building of the future”. “The Energy Globe Award is a great honor for the outstanding and innovative work that many employees of Anton Paar GmbH and 24 Asset Management have done in this project. And it shows the importance we attach to sustainable solutions and innovative technologies,” said a delighted Dominik Santner, COO of Anton Paar GmbH, who accepted the award together with Johann Scherfranz, General Manager of 24 AM.

Excerpt from the jury assessment: “The technology center impressed as a global pioneer for energy-efficient buildings: the new building at the headquarters combines state-of-the-art building technology with sustainable construction and long-term environmentally friendly operation. The innovative combination of a solar thermal ice energy storage system, photovoltaic systems and heat pumps enables primary energy savings of around 43 percent for heating and cooling. Two atriums flood the interior with daylight and reduce the need for artificial lighting. This saves CO2 emissions compared to conventional designs and reduces operating costs to a minimum.”
