Material Brief: Graphite – TPO – Autosorb 3300

Graphite was analyzed by temperature programmed oxidation (TPO) using an Autosorb 3300

This report is an example of a graphitic sample analyzed by TPO. TPO requires a mixture of a small percentage of oxygen (2-10%) in helium as a carrier gas. This mixture can be supplied in a premixed gas tank, or, in the Autosorb 3300, pure oxygen and helium can be fed to the instrument and mixed internally to the required ratio.
